I just witnessed someone blowing their nose into a hankerchief. blowing SNOT into a RAG and then stuffing the snot-drenched rag BACK INTO their pocket. Am I the only one who thinks this is completely gross??
I get it. I mean, using hankies instead of tissues used to be classy and appropriate. (key word = used to) Also during this time, cloth diapers were used as well. (also gross) But c'mon people! Can't you see that we, as a society have evolved?!
If you're still convinced that using hankies is somehow saving the planet/looks classy/is less of a hassle then please. riddle me this: what do you do with your snot-covered hanky at the end of the day? Surely, you don't just toss it in the washing machine (because that would be a waste) and you probably don't hand wash it either....which leaves only one other possible method: YOU LET IT DRY. You let it dry on the counter and then, in the morning; PRESTO! good as new! and back it goes! into the pocket!
Don't deny it, you hanky-users you. Just know that what I have just said in this-here blog is what EVERYONE IN THE WORLD SECRETLY THINKS. toodles.
